Breezy Creative Design Identity

Visual Communication and Design Poster

My personal identity, minimalistic approach focusing on the important aspects of what I do and contact information

- BCD visual identity, the same two columns of information have been applied to all branding material

My email and website have been incorporated into one design feature, 2 column information set
The concept behind my logo design is that of communication and brandmark creation. If you look above the letter B, you will find a tilde (~), a form of visual and written communication used in many languages throughout the world. Originally created as a mark of abbreviation, the tilde was placed above a word or words in order for people to visually identify the mark. In my logo design, the tilde above the letter B creates a mark or brandmark of abbreviation for Breezy Creative Design.
In case you haven’t visited my about page yet, my name is William and I am a Chicago based graphic designer. I specialize in logo design, identity design, branding, business card, letterhead, brochures, poster and print design.
My visual identity design is kept consistent by using the same primary colors of light blue, grey, black and white throughout my branding materials such as; business card, letterhead, envelopes and other forms of visual communications to facilitate brand recognition. A major visual identity cue is the use of my 2 column grid for information purposes.
A simple logo design will always be more effective than an extravagant illustration, 5 principles of logo design. I designed the above poster to communicate the importance of good design in everyday life, including business. Each word represents the power of design and the promise of Breezy Creative Design.
